About Dionysius
Claudio Marangoni, an Italian director, founded the company in 2012 with the goal of making the best wines accessible to a wide audience. Italian wines lacked the refinement that comes with high-quality wines because they were typically mass-produced. Contrarily, Dionysius Importers sought to differentiate the wine experience by introducing consumers to the winemakers themselves. Dionysius Importers gives the land a voice and the vines a voice with a unique fusion of biodynamic cultivation and time-honored winemaking methods.
We have devoted a lot of time to choosing the best Italian wines. We planned around 300 events annually between 2012 and 2020, curating wines for both wine connoisseurs and novices.
Despite having our roots in Italian wines, we are growing in new markets. Most of our customers are wine drinkers, but we also have a few professionals.
