To be paired with braised meat, Moliterno pecorino, tortelli with duck sauce. An all-pepper Sangiovese, very intense, rich in extract and spicy suggestions that intertwine with alpine herbs and small fruits in jam. All this intensity comes from the three weeks of maceration and from a long aging in wood. The result is a purebred Sangiovese, with a powerful structure, but which has been wisely sculpted. Juicy tannins and balance between acidity and flavor.

Grapes: Sangiovese

Color: Dark Ruby Red

Aroma: Intense, consistent, imperious ruby. Complex nose, slow in letting itself be completely read, inviting and mysterious. First sweet fruit and spice, then as it relaxes it exhales fascinating balsamic nuances and wild scents.

Taste: The sip is gritty and of great impact, impressive but well managed tannins. A great Sangiovese from Romagna that looks to Montalcino.
